Five day blog

On Monday the class went to the Milwaukee mueseum. At the museum there was a butterfly house. There was also a rainforest. In the museum there was a room called old town Milwaukee. There was diagrams of Native Americans. In one place there was a fake igloo that you could go into. There was an exibit called body world but we couldn't go there because it cost extra money to pay. We saw the Dumb-Dumb give me Gum-Gum statue from Night at the Mueseum. There was a thing you could walk through and see what the sea is like. In conclusion, it was an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

On Tuesday we wrote ten things about out mom's. We played dodgeball in gym class. We got our parts for the Winn Dixie play, and practiced them. In math we learned about volume.

On Wednesday we had to get ready for the Winn Dixie party. Ms. Boyer put up lots of lights and disco ball. We practiced our parts for our Winn Dixie play. We finished watching the movie as well! In math we worked on volume again. We went and watched our reading buddies, Mrs. Swenson's 1st grade, preform their play of Stone Soup. After that we had a party for Ms. Grypp because she is getting married! We also practiced out play again for her. We put up our dog pictures that talked about why they are our best friends. We had a busy day!

On Thursday we rehearsed our Winn Dixie play in the morning. At 1:15 we had out Winn Dixie party! We had lots of food, mom's and dad's and grandpa's and grandma's came to watch our play. At the party there was a disco ball, doggy pictures, lanterns and a mistake tree, just like Gloria Dump's tree in the book. Our parents got to watch the play that we worked on. Some of the kids went home early and some didn't. We had a great day!!!

On Friday we had a normal morning, spelling test, reading and some writing. In math we worked on learning about the U.S. Customary and Metric units of weights. We talked about different kinds of scales and things that you weigh on them. The afternoon was exciting again as we had root beer floats (Ms. Boyer's treat for us after the Winn Dixie party). We also went to watch the 4th grade pioneer day performance in the big gym. It was an exciting week!!! It's hard to believe that the end of the year is almost here! We still have so much to work on and update you about, keep checking in on us, and leave us comments!!!
